A child who will be four years old before August 1 of the entrance year may be enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten. The child's age must be verified by a birth or Baptismal certificate. The Trinity Lutheran School Handbook lists further entrance requirements. top Full tuition is paid if neither the child nor one of the parents is a member of Trinity, St. Andrew, or Hanover congregations. top Morning sessions will be Monday-Friday mornings from 8:00 to 10:55 AM. Afternoon sessions will be Monday-Friday afternoons from12:00 to 2:55 PM. Please do not bring your child to class early. Children from each session should be picked up as soon as the session ends. top As part of our daily schedule, we have "Nutrition Time". During this time the children will be assisting in preparing their own snacks. Nutrition Time will be a time for discovery and experience of a variety of foods within a cheerful atmosphere. There is a fee to maintain this program. Contact the teacher for information. top Parents who are interested in assisting the teacher may volunteer to be room parents. The room parents help organize the party activities, organize transportation for field trips, and assist with various classroom activities. top It is necessary to have a parent's written consent to take the children off the school grounds. Please sign and send back permission slips as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate parent volunteers (without younger siblings) to accompany us on field trips. top During the early part of the school year, we will be practicing fire drills and disaster drills. In the severe weather drills. It will be helpful if you would talk to your child about the need for doing this (particularly if there is a fear involved). top TOTE BAG (12" x 12") This bag will be used as the line of communication between home and school. No backpacks, please! A list of all other supplies needed will be sent home in a note from the teacher. top
