Mrs. Maurer received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Concordia College, River Forest, IL and her Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Reading from Southeast Missouri State University.  She is a member of the Lutheran Education Association and the Association for Curriculum Development.  She came to Trinity in 2006 after serving in Lutheran schools in Ft.

Lauderdale,  FL, Kansas City, MO, Sedalia, MO, St. Charles, MO, and St. Peters, MO.  She has also taught at Southeast MO State University, and in public schools in Sikeston, MO and St. Joseph, MO.

Mrs. Maurer has 3 sons and a daughter-in-law.  She enjoys reading, crafts, and swimming.
